Youtube Videos Were you previously a member of MazeRP? No Do you have any previous roleplay experience? If so where? I have no experience Why do you want to join MazeRP? (100 Word Minimum) I want to join MazeRP because I want to enjoy a serious Roleplay experience. Most servers break character, and are not serious about roleplay, and I think that this server would be fun for me to play on. I have been looking for a server like this for months and I finally found this one. I would love to meet new people, and most importantly have a lot of fun. It would be an honor to play on this server, and I hope to be playing on this server very soon. I have heard many great things about this server, and I hope to become a member very soon. Give a brief background story of your character. (150 Word Minimum) Jose Rodriguez is from the streets of Brooklyn, New York. He recently moved to Maze, and Is not very wealthy. He was evicted a few months back when he was living in Brooklyn cause he couldn't pay his rent. He has been shot, stabbed, and at one point even turned to drugs. His dad died when he was 14 when he was shot in a drive by shooting. His mom was arrested after she overdosed on Heroin, and he was put in foster care after that. He moved to Maze for opportunity, and hopes to find a job. A job that pays enough money to make ends meet, and put food on the table. He loves to help people out and is a kind hearted person. He left Brooklyn due to all of the crime and gangs in his neighborhood. He is only 23 and has been through so much, and wants to live a good, happy, and healthy life Have you met the word count on both essays? I googled for a whitelisted Gmod RP server. Saw a recommendation for this one, and thought why not? Were you previously a member of MazeRP? No Do you have any previous roleplay experience? If so where? I was an active user and admin of Imperial Community Roleplay ICRP* (An old-school PERP server) then an active member at SantosRP for a while. Ran a couple of my own servers and I have 4000+ hours in Garry's mod. I mostly like slower roleplays, which makes me also enjoy text based roleplay. I also roleplayed in other games than Gmod. Too much to list here... Why do you want to join MazeRP? (100 Word Minimum) I want to join MazeRP because I do miss Gmod I roleplay. There is something special about it that is not replicated in any other medium if done well. I honestly do not know much about this server specifically but if whitelisted I would definitely give it a shot and see if it captures what I am looking for. I am hoping it is something a bit more serious than SantosRP. I don't want to point fingers but I think there were many people there who just wanted a shooting fest and very little RP, especially as time went on. Me personally I am hoping for a server where I can get to know people as my character and roleplay without having to worry about people looking down on me for not partaking in heists or making tons of money. I could not care less about money in a roleplay server. Give a brief background story of your character. (150 Word Minimum) I have been building on this character since ~2013? Always been the same character although it has of course evolved. I will not give out too much detail because I don't like to spoil too much as I think part of what makes it roleplay is organically showing your character. Jason Mason grew up on a farm with his older brother and their parents. They have a family tradition of baking and selling pumpkin pie. This pie is well renowned and loved by many, some might even call it addictive. Jason got a red pick-up truck when he was 16. His brother ended up borrowing it and crashing it years later, which is when he got his current one, a red 90s pick-up truck. Jason grew up and took over the pumpkin pie recipe. This is where we are now. I know you asked for background story, but I think it's important to also touch on his personality here. Jason Mason is kind hearted and non violent at heart but he has a bad temper. He is not a criminal, he would never go robbing people or plan a heist. Having moved closer to the city some of his old habits are frowned upon and he can't seem to get why. One of his favorite pastimes is shooting birds with a pump action shotgun from the back of his pickup while someone else is driving. This is frowned upon by police, but according to him he "ain't 'causin nobody harm" and will state his rights to bare a firearm if it's the last thing he does! He is a stubborn man...
